Intake/Diagnostic Assessment
We always begin with an intake/diagnostic assessment. This will typically be your first 1-3 sessions and includes a clinical interview to gather information about your current concerns and history to obtain diagnostic clarity. If services are for a child, the provider may interview parent and child separately, as well as all together. Your provider will review their diagnostic impression and treatment plan with you following your first couple of sessions.
Psychotherapy
Individual
One-on-one support starts with developing a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance. In individual therapy, you (or your child) will be able to learn how to identify, express, and process difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Therapy will also focus on changing behavior, obtaining clarity and insight, improving communication and relationships, as well as experience healing.
Family
Perhaps you’re seeking parenting support, you are a kiddo or teen looking to communicate with a caregiver, or you’re a couple/family facing a major change/adjustment. Family therapy can provide a space to process, communicate, and problem-solve around a variety of challenges.
Parent Guidance
Parenting can be tough! You are not alone. By connecting with a provider, you can receive support to gain knowledge and insight into parenting challenges by working on communication, behavior management, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and improving overall parent-child dynamics.
Couples
We love our partners, but bringing two lives together can sometimes be challenging. Couples therapy can help you learn ways to listen, validate, communicate, improve connection, problem-solve, compromise, as well as express + receive love most effectively.
