She/Her

Reaching out to a professional for any reason takes courage and a willingness to be vulnerable. I believe that holding a safe space for you to connect to your core sense of authenticity, vulnerability, courage, empathy, and belonging is vital. You are the “expert” in your own life; working with folks to connect to that inner knowledge is a joy.

I have worked in the field of loss, grief, and bereavement for over 25 years in private practice, agency, and volunteer settings. Losses can arrive in many different forms at any time in our lives – death, divorce, pet loss, job loss or change, retirement, physical or mental health challenges, a relationship breakup, a move, estrangement from family or a close friend, other life transitions, and many more. I have a special interest and training in working with those who are in the midst of coping with infertility, perinatal losses, pregnancy, and birth trauma. Serving and supporting folks who are finding their way through grief has been and continues to be an honor and a privilege. I also work with folks who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, stress, and trauma. Sometimes learning how to set strong, necessary, yet flexible boundaries or connect to supportive coping skills is what someone most needs, and working with folks to develop or connect to these strengths can prove invaluable.

Each of us is unique and we each face unique life challenges. I hope to support you in finding your own emotional, mental, and spiritual growth and balance. Allow me to hold the space for you to tap into your own creativity, inner wisdom, and strength, resolve challenges, and connect to hope and a strong sense of self-worth.

In my own life, I am also a strong believer in good, solid self-care practices. I enjoy spending time with my spouse and our young Russell terrier in the abundant Arizona sunshine and making trips throughout the year to visit my daughter and her family on the East Coast. I also love to read fun books, exercise, listen to all types of music (and dance!), practice Grief Yoga and YOQI QiGong, connect with good friends, study new things, and watch fascinating TV series.
