Food is the fuel that our bodies need to function, but can also influence our mood, sleep quality, and energy to get through the day. In fact, the nutrients in food are the very building blocks that create the feel-good chemicals in our brain needed for the energy and mood we’re looking for. That’s why we think nutrition education, as it relates to mental health, is an important element that can be incorporated into therapy services.
