Pamela Reigel, MA, LMFT
Marriage and Family Therapist
she/her
Hello and welcome…
If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just stuck, you have come to the right place. Therapy can provide a safe space for you to get grounded, feel your feelings, learn, and let go of what is no longer serving you.
What to expect…
My approach to therapy is relationship based, flexible and eclectic. When you come into session, you can expect unconditional care and respect for your unique story. You are the expert on your experience and the hero of your journey. My role as your therapist is to support your healing through patience, curiosity, humility and a touch of humor. Occasionally, I like to give “homework” but it’s usually something fun like “make a playlist”, “paint a thing” or “check out this movie”.
Special interests and experience…
I specialize in supporting individuals and families navigating the challenges of a chronic medical or mental health diagnosis. Specific areas of experience include Type 1 Diabetes, ASD, ADHD and all neurospicy folx. Other areas of interest include: men who “shove it all down”, recovery from narcissistic relationships, therapy newbs, teachers and existential questions/crisis.
A bit more about me…
I’ve been practicing therapy since 2008 and have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2014. I’m also a board approved supervisor. I am a Type 1 diabetic, neurospicy, white, cis female. I’m an ally to LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and all neurotypes. When away from the office my days are spent being a good enough mom, perfectly imperfect partner, source of warmth for the cat and reliable, yet notoriously late, friend. Flow state is most easily achieved for me when doing yoga, gardening, listening to a book/podcast, reading, snuggling up for a movie, crafting, checking out live music, singing, traveling and getting outside.
